You have probably seen them but had no idea who made them or how they came into being.
Professional photographer Neal Grundy, a freelance photographer based in Brighton is the man responsible for these eye catching and impressive shots of night climbing on the southern sandstone outcrops.
Neal has produced a variety of photographic work of classic and some not so classic sandstone lines, which are incredibly illuminated by climbers sending the lines at night using head torches. The long photographic exposures resulting in an incredible visual spectacular highlighting the beauty and different contrasts between natural textures of sandstone and the man-made forms, created through climbing traffic and unfortunate erosion.
Back in 2012, Neal's 'Night Climbing' series was very much recognised by being awarded the 'Grand Prize' in the 2012 Banff Mountain Photography Competition.
Neal has been hard at work bringing these incredible photos to the market place via his online store and prints can now be purchased from Neal's website here.
